It's not serum like in consistency. It's runny like a toner. I will not advice daily use because it's an active. Also if you're just incorporating it into your routine, you should start slow and build your tolerance. 2 times a week then it can become 3-4 times a week. My skin didn't purge. I thought it would because it's the first time I'm using this brand of BHA. I use it 2-3 times a week. It's gentle compared to some brands.
